Decentraland Terraform Auction Funds Commitment Reopened

The rules for the decentraland Terraform auction have just changed in a pretty dramatic way. Originally, once the Terraform auction had commenced, only funds (Mana) already committed to the auction by the auction participants could be staked to buy land. Under the new rules, any already registered participants can continue to commit more Mana to the auction until the auction is complete.

Originally the decentraland.org page reported that 154,852,785.15 MANA had been committed to the auction, valued at $18,528,131.29.

So the big question, is what will the new number of committed MANA be. If the number goes up substantially, if will indicate a belief in the concept. Lets wait and see...

This will also affect value of MANA on cryptocurrency exchanges, all of a sudden, there may be a significant demand for MANA, from users wishing to stake it in the Terraform event.

$0.099618 USD.

I am interested to see where MANA moves from here until the auction completes in 3 days. I predict a wild ride.

Already, the Terraform Registration page shows the number of committed MANA has increased by ~8% to 167,112,046,344.
